We want to start off by saying how amazing you all are and how appreciative we are of your continued effort to keep yourself and others safe at 6S!
As numbers continue to rise in Toronto, we know that there remains a lot of uncertainty. While we cannot understand how each of you are feeling, we want you to know that we are here to support you in any way we can.
We want to take this opportunity to remind you that your health and safety are our number one priority. That’s why we ask that you wait outside the front door before class; why we require a pre-screening form; why our coaches wear masks; and, why we’ve invested more time and money into our cleaning materials and protocols.
We are committed to keeping everyone safe and will continue to do everything in our power to ensure this happens. We are also committed to keeping the lines of communication open. We will advise you of any changes, and we ask that you come to us with any concerns or questions, so that we can continue to keep 6S a safe and healthy space for everyone!
Up to this point, compliance has been high and this has resulted in everyone’s health and safety being maintained, so thank you!
While we can appreciate the “covid fatigue” from some people may be setting in, this is not the time to let up! We all need to continue to hold ourselves to the highest standard, because each of our actions have an affect on every other member at 6S.
Thus, we just wanted to remind you of a few things:
>> The pre-screening is not just a box to check. Please ask yourselves these questions honestly and if there is any doubt as to whether you might have been exposed (even if you do not feel any symptoms), please do not come to the gym.
>> Please remain in your designated workout area for the entire duration of the workout. If you need a different weight or another piece of equipment, ask your coach - they will get it for you. We cannot have people walking around the gym without masks on.
>> Please ensure that all of your belongings are stored inside your designated area. Belongings stored outside of boxes are a hazard to other coaches and clients who may be walking around in the space (especially on the turf).
>> Please practice physical distancing at all times (even outside waiting in line). We're working on getting stickers made, but until then you can use the stones as a guide!
>> If you haven't already, we strongly encourage you to download the COVID tracking app, so that you can be notified of any possible exposure.
As well, we want to draw your attention to our new cleaning procedure, outlined below, wherein we're going to ask that you use the hand sanitizer to clean your hands before cleaning the equipment:
Things have been very smooth since we opened in July, and we want to keep it this way! So, let’s all continue to hold ourselves to the highest standard so that we can all keep enjoying our workouts at 6S!
