The holiday season is finally here! That means all things cinnamon spice, and everything nice… and of course, a lot of sweet treats! Here is a round-up of our favorite Food for 6S festive holiday recipes to get you in the spirit. Each recipe was created using nutrient dense ingredients (as opposed to refined flours and sugars) making them a healthier twist on the conventional version. After all, ‘tis the season to indulge, but why not do so with a healthier option? Enjoy!
On Saturday Nov 24th, we hosted our annual members team CrossFit competition - 6S Underground Throwdown. This year, we had a mix of first-time and experienced competitors, in addition to members who had just started CrossFit and those who have been with us for a few years. We’re so proud of everyone for stepping outside of their comfort zone, for demonstrating teamwork and camaraderie (most people hadn't met their teammates before), and for giving each workout their best effort!
While last year was hard to top, we’re confident that this one is going to stick with people for a while - we definitely will never forget it! In case you missed the event, or were there but want to relive the memories, we’ve put together a short recap of the day. We hope you enjoy!

Sam joined 6S just over one year ago. He joined without any previous experience, but immediately committed to learning new movements and skills. Not only was (and is) extremely receptive to feedback - always wanting to improve - he supports and encourages everyone else in class. His personality shined through early on, when he participated (with unprecedented enthusiasm) in ice breakers, welcomed new members and engaged with his peers. He attended as many social events as possible and established himself as one of the role models at the gym.
