Jon first joined 6S early in 2019. He was eager to get involved with both CrossFit classes and nutrition coaching off the get go. And there’s been no going back since then.
Jon is dedicated to mastering new skills, adding on his own technique driven sessions and getting PT from coach Kev. Once he sets since mind to something, he persists until he gets it. With his nutrition, he’s learned the art of what macros are, how to track them, and how to balance them over the day. Jon crushed the Food for 6S nutrition challenge earlier this year earning some of the top points for behaviour change.
Jon’s transformation has proven to be more than physical, making substantial positive psychological change to prioritize his health and fitness. We are so proud and inspired by Jon's journey. We can't wait to see what he'll accomplish next!

Other than CrossFit, what do you do for fun?
I'm kind of a home-body so definitely watching Netflix and I'm always looking to learn new things so studying for certifications and researching different topics I'm interested in. I also really like spending time at our family cottage in Grand Bend.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
Live in Italy, become a pet parent (specifically black lab - working on this), 2035 CrossFit games babyyy! Hahaha
Are you a dog person or cat person?
Dog person. I'm sorry but cats can't be trusted, that "meow" sound they make is manufactured to take advantage of humans.
What do you do for a living?
I'm currently a Project Manager at a subscription-based, full-service, recruiting company.
2 Truths and a lie about you
1. I've lived in 7 different cities
2. I had backstage passes at Warped Tour in Toronto in 2018 so I met We The Kings, Simple Plan, Sum 41, and 3Oh!3
3. I spent 2 weeks in Guatemala with my university club to build a vocational training center for a small village
